That damn 30 seconds limit thing you get - does it have to be 30 seconds. Can't it be 15 seconds or something like that.

After the demise of HMRCWG - who really postwhores anymore? And, it gets annoying to reasonably fast typers like myself.

How often does it stop you? How many times have you posted twice in 30 seconds while making a good post both times?

I know I've gotten stuck with the 30 second limit, but I only post mindless garbage.

I dunno - it is just that I run into that 30 seconds thing a lot and when you think of it, half a minute is a while to wait. Especially if your in a thread with multiple people posting.

I've personally never ran into the limit, and I think it discourages people who would double-post in an effort to abuse the forums. You might not be one of those people, Eddy, but unfortunately the limit has to be placed upon everyone.

I have, like three times, so it's no bother...

Actually it's saved my neck a few times - my computer sometimes loads slowly so I press "Submit Reply" more than once... Normally it would look like I stupidly double posted, but the 30 second limit catches it so there's only one post.

I've had the exact same situations! Sometimes, my browser will decide to start crawling or it'll bug out on me, so I press Submit again... that time limiter certainly has prevented several double posts on my part.

In fact, on other forums that I go to, they don't have that limit, so I've found myself accidentally double-posting quite a bit, and it's annoying to go back and edit it.
