Its the XJ220 Race car, I bought it with 3,107.04 miles on it, do you think it needs an engine rebuild and chassis refresh? It's 500k a pop.

Normally I would do the refresh if I noticed a negative change in handling or a significant drop in power, but as I bought it used I have no idea how it's supposed to feel.

I had a few issues with snap oversteer on the last corner of HighSpeed ring forwards, but that could just be my heavy handed steering mixed with a powerful MR car or a natural characteristic of the car that I need to tune for.

Is 3,000 miles enough to warrant 1 million is "repairs"?

Thanks!

I have this car too and it does seem slower than it should be, but like you I've no idea if it's how the car is anyway.
Either way, it can't warrant spending a million credits when the improvement would only be slight if any.
Then again, my Dodge Charger's done over 220,000 miles and it still feels newish. I wouldn't have thought mileage would have too much of an effect.

I would do the engine overhaul if you notice the maximum HP on the car is down from its top number even after an oil change and you feel you need the extra HP to win a race. Otherwise, just keep racing and do it later.

I'm not even sure what the top HP is. I think I'll leave and see how rapidly it drops off, if I get alarmed I'll do it.

The handling is a different issue, I don't know if the handling is currently degraded. Is it driveable? Yes, could be better? Sure. Will refresh fix the small quirks? Don't know. I guess there really isn't anyway to know until I drop 500k on it.

Save your game file to USB , then pay for the build try the car if it is better then great if it is not then reload the game from the USB ..

Give this man a cigar. I keep forgetting I can do this. I feel so dumb.
