Does NASCAR 2011 The Game make others wish GT5 had all the tracks and cars too?

I know this is GTPlanet but I'd say probably 80% of my time playing GT5 is racing NASCAR, and 90% of that is online. I got NASCAR 2011 on Tuesday and man it just makes me wish GT5 would've included all the NASCAR tracks and all or at least more of the cars. What's everybody else think?

Why you caught all the hype.Nascar made by a British company? Like asking for a Guinness from an Italian brewery. Nascar 2011 is a piece of junk.Waste of money and a joke.Wow, played at my friends house and it has to be the the worst driving game I have ever played, online sucks,lag, can't join a race,pathetic, I could go on but it is a waste of time.
Incredible how they screwed that up.No beta,no demo,no game.Stay away from this.GT5 even though it has 2 tracks and 1/4 of the cars is way,way better.

I think this thread is in the wrong section.

While I agree GT5 needs more tracks, it doesn't need all of them.

I do think it should have more of the ovals, as well as watkins glen and infineon again.. but i also think you should be able to build your own stock car, not just use one in existance..
 
Why is this posted in the Online Racing thread? Shouldn't it be in either the Console gaming thread or the Q&A thread?
 
Inb4 biased thread.

I personally like NTG 2011. Haven't played it online yet and don't plan to. I bought it for single player.....yea single player, haters gonna hate.

It very well may be a decent single player game.

The multiplayer looks horrible, looks almost impossible to run a proper online league with it.

GT5's PC-inspired (think NASCAR 2003) Online Lobbies make NTG11 look prehistoric.
 
I've looked at screenshots (not played it) and I dont like Nascar 011 all that much from the shots. The way cars & objects are way off in the distance gives it a Daytona USA Nintendo 64 look. Also I hear the physics are nothing to write home about.
 
I enjoy NASCAR on GT5, especially road courses; more NASCAR tracks would be good (e.g. Watkins Glen) since I am not going to get the NASCAR 2011 game - reviews aren't good
