Does PSN store online saves within it

Hi everyone i just did a HDD format on my ps3 and Deleted everything, I backed up my GT5 save but have to redownload all the games and updates again.

I am buying a new ps3 tomorrow because this one is having Hard drive issues.

Question: When i get my new PS3 and sync it too my current PSN will my online acheivements be intact.

For example my Battlefield 3 online rank and stats etc.

Your PSN will be safe (you'll keep all of your trophies) but none of the saved game data will be there unless you backed it up.

You'll just lose your BF3 campaign save unless you backed that up also.

Why not just get a new HDD?
It's easy to upgrade/install a new one.

If you happen to have PSN Plus, you can store your savegames online, including savegames that can't be backed up/copied to USB.
