i saw someone in another thread talk about putting a rubber band over the accelerator, then doing the endurance super speedway. does this really work? because when i just keep mine pressed it bangs in the walls everywhere and ends up last!

The way I've heard it that you take a superfast car and strap a rubber band around the X buton so that the car continually grinds along the outside wall. In theory you'd win because you never pit, and the overpowered car would be fast enough to go around the track at a fast clip despite grinding its right side along the outside wall.

I don't think it actually does work, but even if it did then it'd be the weenie sissy boy method of running the enduro. I mean come on, it ain't that hard! :p

No, what you do is re-assign the accelerator to the right hand joystick.

Take a fully boosted Escudo and run it at the Super Speedway enduro. Use a rubber band (I've used tape) so that the car is accelerating and turning right - it will run along the right wall and will not need to pit.

dude, ive ran that race twice:)

just playing around now:)

thanks vat man ill try that:D

It works, but be careful. I set it up, and walked away checking the race every 15 minutes only to find out that my lap time for lap 40 was at 5 minutes. Little did I know I got flipped around by an AI car and was racing BACKWARDS.
