Does the RX-7 Bathurst come in Brilliant Black?

Hi all.

Does the following car in this colour exist?

RX-7 Type R Bathurst R (FD) '01-Brilliant Black

I have checked Ducks car database and only 3 colours are listed.Innocent Blue Mica( I have that one), Pure White and Sunburst Yellow.

The real life counter part came in 5 colours Brilliant Black and Vintage Red were the other 2

Based on the fact that all other RX-7s appear to come in black it seems odd that the jewel in the crown does not.

Three body colors are available, including exclusive color for this limited edition vehicle: Sunburst Yellow.

Are you sure it came in black?

Another site does say it came in five colors, but only shows images of the three in the game.

Last year of production 2001 Mazda Bathurst colors were Innocent Blue Mica, Pure White and Sunburst Yellow. Previous years it also came in Chaste White, Vintage Red and Brilliant Black with contrasting leather trim in either red or Black. So to answer your question no Brilliant Black model for the 2001 range existed.
 
If he wants it 0/0/0 and in that colour then he could just glitch paint it!

I am a collector and therefore looking for the car to be 0/0/0, not glitched.
I believe I have seen the black in the UCD but did not buy it:dopey:

I guess I will carry on my search and continue ripping level 6 tickets. So far got it 3 times in Innocent Blue Mica.

My question exactly. What difference does it make if you paint it the colour you want or buy it in that colour? I still don't get it:scared:

I think you are wasting your time, but it is your time, so have fun. I still don't see enough evidence to suggest that the real car was available in black. Over a year into it, and it isn't documented in the game, either.
