does this ever happen to you when playing halo online?

You get done playing and you just wanna go sit in the corner and weep silently cuz you just had your ass handed to you? cripes, i mean...im definently not the best player out there, but i am *decent* but one of the guys i just played online....he was a damn machine...EXPERT sniper. could pick off anything, from any range, moving (whether it be the target, him, or both), stationary. one shot, one kill, no questions asked. after a couple games w/ him getting like 38 kills in a game and only 8 deaths, versus my petty 8-10 kill count, i think im just gonna go sit in the corner and cry for a little while. :eek:
 
Yes, you've been 'owned'.

You'll suck for a while no doubt, but get practicing and get ready to hand him his own ass :trouble:
 
Sure he wasn't cheating?

I get that garbage playing Socom online. Of course I have been severly owned at times and just like you I want to go hide in a corner because I'm so embarassed. :O
But you gotta wonder about those players out there that are of GOD like status. Do they really play by the rules?

They're either cheats, or a weedy bugger with a fat arse, if you know what I mean.
 
Well, if you have the sniper rifle, it is a one shot kill if you aim for the head.

If there is a sniper in the game, you need to weed him out. Running him over with a Warthog should work. :lol:
 
It is like that on ANY online shooter. There are always a few that seem to have godly aiming skills, and the thing is that they probably are using cheats of some sort.

I know Counterstrike and the original Tribes ( which I play ALL the time still:tup: ) are getting really bad for these "Super Snipers".

Sucks the fun right out of the game sometimes. But there is not much you can do other than respawn and frag back.

Practise, practise, practise...

Yeah, i know, i just cant aim for ****, haha. i did pick him off the back of a jeep once. i had myself set up in a cave and this other guy kept getting on the back and trying to flush me out w/ the machine gun but i picked him off the back of it twice, then super sniper tried to make a run for the jeep, and as soon he got on i put one thru the back of his head. it felt pretty good but i dont think he liked that very much. haha.

as far as flushing them out w/ a jeep, most of the time they're on high ground so thats kinda hard, and even if he was on the ground, he could still pick me off of that thing like nuthin...
