I put in GTC for a change today and one of my favourite sounding cars is the SL55 AMG. I took it on R246 and could not hear the bloody thing for half the race because of the crowd, its so noisey.
I have noticed that the same thing happens at SSR5 but I cannot remember what other tracks this happens on (there are more).
There is no way of turning off the crowd noise is there?

GT3 is seriously lacking in the sound department. You can turn things like music and engine noise on and off, but you can't adjust the individual volumes... most games you can. Oh well... it's a minor thing, really.

Yeah, and all those camera flashes really distract me when I'm driving.

well, driving race cars wether in a game or in real life takes concentration and skill...the ability to block out distractions, pain, anger and fear....and focus on winning the race....

flashing lights and crowd noise should be the least of your worries..

I can block out everything except an itchy back, leg arm, or face when playing Gt3.

unexpected sudden sneezing is bad for my driving....
I would of thought a 500+hp racing car would of easily drowned out a crowd of people?

why?

I real life, race cars are MUCH lowder than the crowd (in fact, when you're in a race car you can't hear what's going on outside because of the noise in the car).

As a matter of fact, the first thing in any racing game is turn of the muzak. Who ever thought of putting a CD player in a racing car? All that extra weight ! :D

Especially an itchy nose.

god i hate itches during races too!!

tho thismorning it was a purring cat in my ear. I bet racecar driver dont have to put up with that

if you play gt on a sound card you can do an individual filter by wavelength and with that you can theoretically filter out the crowd noise..

:odd:

I've not played GTC, but I didn't think it was bad in GT3. Did they change something?
