Ah i asked the question wrong -___- I'm wondering if you would rather have two of the same car for different uses, or one car that you have to keep retuning

Haha I'm not a fan of the grinding so I mainly just use a car for one purpose. Get the fastest lap time possible. Then again I don't drift race because I'm neither fast nor furious (*blocks punches).

Well, i have 4 908's 2 for the 'Ring, 2 for La Sarthe. One is for high-speed, low grip the other is for High grip, easy on tyres, more forgiving.

I have 4 samba's they are good for storage and cheaper than an extention to the house or building a garage.

In GT4 you could have 3 different setups for the same car, came in handy but obviously removed for GT5 which is a shame.

What's a grip race? Did you make that up?

Anyhow... I use a race car for racing and the Fiat 500 to impress the ladies.

Mine have mostly multi purpose regargind pp range. Even with full aftermarket components, you can set untick those and voila...your car can compete in much lower pp races, too 👍

Id like to have multiple set ups for different tracks. However you shouldnt need a set up just to drift. Set the car up to handle well and it will drift just fine.

Sometimes switching the racing tyres with comfort tyres is enough to "switch" from race mode to drift mode... but personally I only have the same car a few times when I want to have it available in different colors.

my R34 uses one setup for drift and grip and even for groceries all I have to do is rip the handbrake for drifting 👍

I prefer to have multiple cars tune and modded differently, don't want to screw up my tunes that I put a lot of time in for.

Why the heck did they have to remove that? My brother and I were so pleased when we found that you could have 3 different set ups for the same car on GT4

The only car I have two of is the Ferrari 458... one completely stock for me and one completely tuned for bob... cleans up in about 7 different races that it is eligeable for... MR, Cavalino, Supercar, Tuning Car, European and a few others I cannot remember.
