I am done with the game... :grumpy:

I do not have the intention or will to still bother doing all the time attacks and stuff... Forget about the signature, I am 98,7 thru, 178 cars and some 14 mio... The only missing car is the Benz CLK55 Touring Car and no chance winning it again... :bawling:

So what do I do ?? Do you have any other games to recommend ?? I heard about WRC for PS2 ... Is that OK ? Anyone played it ?

However, I will not dump my GT3 DVD or trade it. I will try different races with different cars. However, it's about time to lay the DVD to get some rest... :indiffere

Well, what I heard about WRC is that it is way too easy.
You can practically take all the corners at full speed, and the handling of the car is unrealistic...

Maybe you should go rent it first.

I would definately recommend Grand Theft Auto III, but you probably have that one already.

I bought WRC and I was really dissapointed, because it can't compare to GT3...and what's the use playing it then. The cars look cartoony, the sound is good but the handling really, really sucks

I would go for MGS2, although Mr. MGS-himself screwed the storyline  ;)

I recommend that you get a sharkport and a copy of MKs program, and start making your own cars, that way the challenge never ends.

I'm currently playing through Amateur FR with a FR beetle with 305 bhp, and no rear diff, so inside wheel spinning antics are a nightmare.Certainly makes for a challenge.

Ill tell yah, i took a break from GT3 for a few days and found NHL2002 to be a really enjoyable game. Im not a hockey fan or even a sports fan. Im terrible at all sports games BUT nhl2002 is fun, it is easy and it is awesome. Im having a ball playing it.

I am located in Istanbul and there is no gameshark in the market. Even the sotres which sell only PS2 and related material don't even know of it (so far those I have contacted)

In fact, cheating on games seems to be illegal here !!! :D

However, I do not even have clue on how to use the shark thing and MK program... Can you actually use programs on the PS2 ???
I thought consoles were the home-versions of coin-ops...

Anyhow, I will research a bit for what you have advised and go for it... Thanks for the warning on WRC... I damn near spent some healthy and hard earned 45 US$ on it...

But gotta face it though : I miss terribly the cockpit details of crummy PC games like Network Q Rally and Collin McRae Rally I. It is a pity to see only the bumper and chase views of such a beautifully detailed simulator. I could've used some weather effects, snowy rally stages, REALLY REALISTIC power slides and such...

Anyhow, since Kazunori isn't watching us, there is no point in crying out so loud

try odering it over the net. I am pretty sure gameshark sell them direct from their website.
And as far as :

thise days are long gone. In May Sony is releaseing a development kit for the ps2 that comes with the 40mb hard drive, linux installed, a keyboard, a vga hook-up (for monitors), and some other stuff. Sony is taking the first major step towards making ps2 an all in one system, AKA computer killer.
I have already given up on pc gameing. Surprisingly the computer games are now unable to compete graphically or gameplay wise with the consoles. MGS2 is a perfect example of this.
Who knows what will come next. The only thing we can be sure about is a total integration of our electronic devices. Soon you will have a device that is both a tv and computer seemlessly integrated with the internet. Broadcasting analog signals will soon become a thing of the past and all of our television programs will be transmitted digitally via the net. The technology is here now but the bandwidth to handle that is not yet available cheaply. I bet that in 10 years this will be the way you watch tv.

(wow, i went on a wild tangent there :))

I bought WRC two weeks ago and i think it is a waste of my precious money. It is far to easy, even in the expert mode, and the cars don't drive realistic. You'd better go for GTA3, i have that game two months now and i am still playing it almost every day. That game is just

But gta3 isnt the best game, in my opinion. I mean, wanna talk about unrealistic driving. The mission are easy, you pretty much drive to spots on the maps. It does have some things like, a race, but scince cars blow-up and there hard to handle its very frustrating. Its a good game for a bunch of people to play because its funny how you can hit pple and shot them your use a TANK!!!!! But its not fun after a while. I rented it, and stopeed using it for 4 days b/c it was boring! But they do have nice stuff theere.

Sounds a good idea... I use manual tranny all the time but not sim tyres though...

Thanx CH

I tell you: Get G.T.A.3!!!! This game is excellent (and takes some time to complete 100% too)! It's the best game for PS2 EXCEPT for GT3 (and Final Fantasy X, when it arrives over here of course) ;)

Wait a minute guys GT3 really never ends thats the point you just keep racing, you are never really done with the game until GT4 comes out.

Did you see this VW Beetle SONAX duilt ? It races an F4 Phantom fighter jet while running for take off and beats it... I remember seeing it on a commercial or some presentation on the TV...

I would've loved to have that car...

Here's what you have to do (and this isn't cheating, and you dont need a sharkport or whatever either):

Get a 2nd memory card, start a new game on it and play until you get enough cash to buy a fast Benz! I recomend to get a 700+ hp car as soon as you can and enter it in the superspeedway endurance! after that race you'll have enough cash to buy the best Benz and tune it to the max! then just enter the silver star amateur races with your new Benz!

Then after you win the CLK Touring Car, just trade it (buy it) to your 1st memory card...and VOILA: D2 AMG Mercedez Benz CLK Touring Car for you my friend! :D
