Good News Everyone! Donington Park has a new lease holder. A family run business who specialize in construction but have always been interested in Motor racing, they've said they want to return the track to it's previous state and not move forward with the new layout yet.
 
Saw the thread title and my heart sank...read SSU's post and I'm cautiously optimistic :D

Hopefully they’ll scrap the Melbourne Loop though ;)
 
I'd recommend everybody go to the Donington Park Collection, there's alot, no a load of very nice racing cars, steeped in history and they aren't seen by enough people. The admission money is good for the circuit aswell.
