Tonight, it's been a year since a very good friend of mine died in a car accident. She was drunk and took the wheel. She was only 20yrs old. She made this mistake and paid of her life. We will never talk too much about how stupid impaired driving is. Guys, think twice before taking your car, don't risk your life. I'm sure there is a friend somewhere that will be glad to give you a ride and go take your car back tomorrow. My friend died but at 2am last year, there is a part of her mom, her dad and her brother that died too. We all miss her.

Sorry 4 ur loss dude have had a couple of kevs round my way do the same thing(the star that shines twice as bright only lives half as long, But still very silly of them) but the only drink driving i do is on gt5.

My friend was also in an accident while being drunk, he was lucky enough to survive and not take anyone with him.
I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your friend it must have been a tough time for everyone.

The last thing I do when driving myself is drink alcohol, and I make sure that when friends come along there's alway one sober driver.
It's a shame it still happens around here (small village, almost no chance of getting caught).

I never drive drunk (except in gt5 lol) but in real life its no laughing matter, my friend lost his license for 10 years after his FIRST offense. so just DO NOT DO IT! it is not worth it even if it means you have to stay home alone that night its MUCH better than risking your life plus im sure one of us would also be home alone that night and we can chat it up and have a grand ol time!

DWI is one of the worst things you can do.
Putting all those people in danger... disgusting.

Always tough to loose a friend.

Thanks for your comments guys, I appreciate. It's been a pretty emotional day today, my girlfriend had a hard time, she was her bestfriend. I put flowers on her grave this afternoon since my girlfriend wasn't able to go, too hard for now.

People always fret about the life of the drink driver but never others on the road. When driving drunk you are not only putting your life in danger but every other person you encounter, driving or otherwise. So for that I only have sympathy for those left behind, like yourself, but no sympathy for the driver whatsoever as your friend chose to die that night, and chose to potentially kill others.
No offence or upset intended.

Sorry for your loss. I have a friend who's brother was killed by a drunk driver. Tragic. It just isn't worth it.

On another note, I know some girls who can drive, but they live in the countryside. Whenever they go out in the city, they share a hotel room rather thank risking driving. It might cost you some money, but money is far less important than your life.

Sorry to hear.

Both of my grandparents were killed in a car accident. They were driving, and a drunk driver in a truck accelerated into the car when they were about to turn. They were both 86.
