Don't win all the credits.

So, I'm playing GT Sport for about 2 months now. Since last week, I notice that, in some races, especially those in the beginning of the game, the credits reward for winning isn't the full amount. Sometimes is equivalent of the 2nd place. I thought that because I used cars far better than the competition was the cause. But no, even if I use cars that is worst than theirs, I don't get the full amount.

Does anybody know why?

It depends on the rating of the car you compete in. The credits listed are for a certain rating of car but you can use others. A lower rated car gives you more credits and a higher rated car gives you less based on the estimated difficulty level.

Plus, don't forget that the clean race bonus will earn you more.
