now i know that gt4 is going to receive greater AI intelligence but it really annoys me in gt3 when u go for a late braking manouver..........u get past them in the nick of time and then without hesitation the AI car turns in on u..........sometimes with enough force to spin u if u are floor it on the exit. Espesially in a FR car.
i feel it just takes an element of realism out of the game.

Thats because in GT3 they are programmed to go on a driect route. So instead of dodging you they will go their programmed route no giving a hell about whats ahead. Even their speed is programed on the direct route. Im pretty sure GT4 will have better AI so they will pull to the left or right to dodge you. Otherwise yes I do hate it. I hate is so much that 🤬 🤬

Had you actually gotten alongside, or was your nose up to the B-Pillar of the car you were trying to pass?

4 will be better, my friend. Plus, you could always whip out a super heavy car like a Cuda and push back, lol. Kik their butt insted of the other way around.

actually if you can get on the inside goin down the straight right before that corner and stay beside them they will take the outside

Indeed - in almost all situations where you draw alongside the AI, they will actually move out of the way (but not much). One notable exception is just after T1 on Midfield, when the buggers will slam sideways into you with glee.

I have found that if you get the job done properly under braking, the AI will make room, but remain on the outside so that you actually need to be careful exiting the corner - but if you're even slightly behind the AI car, it will turn in across you.

In real life motorsport this would be pretty close to the most common accident.

Just cheat n use them as buffer to assist cornering better than any wing or super soft tyres;)

y'd get black flagged for that mister!!!

Not if it didn't look too obvious...heh. Just keep going straight and force them off the road, or force them to turn into you.

i did that in gt2 when i first started the game...........but now i try to make it as challenging and as close to real life racing as possiable

i got 2 things to say about this
1... I'm usually lined up to make the corner fine the way it is and they slam me into the inside wall.
2... I do this in go-karting when you have those tight O style corners that go up or down (usually down makes you slide to the outside)

I did that in Rome in the F1 champ... and they ran away with it by 26 seconds
