Doom 3 is fun. It makes me jump a couple times, but mostly when I have low health or low ammo. The times I get most scared in games is when there's baddies everywhere and I can't reload fast enough. I get jumpy then.

When I was younger tomb raider scared the **** out of me. I was always very afraid of wolves.....

but it gives the games a cirtain kick to it. kinda cool, imo better than watching horror movies because your the one controlling ure character.

HL2 scares me sometimes but its mostly when ure in houses or tight spaces with the mad crab head things. Once ure outa there its not so bad.

So I tried this demo a long time ago and wasn't impressed but I tried it again for the heck of it and suprizing it was a lot better this time. The scare value alone seems worth getting this game to me. :scared: It's a different scare than FEAR too.

So like I'm having these really creepy dreams after playing Doom 3. Has anyone else? My gf woke me up one night and she told me I was kicking the sheets off the bed. She told me to quit playing after that but she aint the boss of me! I'm currently in the Delta Labs :scared:

You sir have an advanced case of Vaginitis..

and FPS....Fear = 90% phsyc...

doom = 100%..Jump out from behind a door, or smash through glass horror movie scares

Fear isn't scarrier...

Seriously, whoever thinks fear is scarrier has a serious lack of cojones when it comes to the "unknown"..Ghost are scary and all...but seriousl..Phsycological fear isn't really going to be that strong..in a VIDEO GAME....not like just plain ol..."BOOM" in your face fear...Because boom in your face fear affects all the senses involved in a video game....touch, sight sound...

phsycological fear will only play on the strings of those people who forget that you're playing a game, and you're not a superhero government agent sent to fight a bunch of clone soldiers..
