Double Cross Figure 8 Racing

I was thinking about running a Figure 8 race some Friday. Thinking about 20 laps of Top Gear should be good. Set mechanical damage to heavy so it'll turn into a survival race. Not sure on what cars I'd use, but it'd be fun. Anyone in?

Race 1 - "Eco-Smash" Hybrid and Electric Cars - 9pm PST 1/10/11


NOTE: If I could, I would post videos of these events.

Tonight or tomorrow I'll be hosting an "Eco-Smash" race That will feature hybrids and electric cars around Top Gear for the first round of these Figure 8 races. Come on in if you want. Everything will be open to encourage more meat ups at the crossovers.
 
Any idea what time these might be run? I guess the later the better for me, and if you were thinking 'late' as in 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM that would mean 12:00 AM or 1:00 AM for me, which would be pretty good.
 
Yeah. I was thinking like 8 or 9pm my time. (PST) Tomorrow.

EDIT: Since this is a Figure 8 race and it's at the Top Gear Track, there are no rules. Do whatever it takes to win. So, if you see someone in a Tesla whiz buy your Prius, feel free to side check him into the wall. Just remember the damage is going to be on heavy and there's no pitlane...and the Tesla doesn't have an engine.

I'm definately entering, as this should be a very interesting race.
 
Only TheStig showed up. Which is fitting because he lives at the Top Gear track and hates electric and hybrid cars. In fact he uses them as his own personal toilet. Just kidding. The next race will be restricted to muscle cars.

I always race clean, so this will be a great way to blow off some steam :)

Not a big fan of muscle cars (hate hybrids even more though 👎) so it will be fun to smash them up :crazy:
