I really enjoy GT5, but I would enjoy it a lot more if the downforce #s on most the cars were better. For many fast cars all you get out of a huge rear wing is 20 downforce. That neuters any super car, rendering them uncontrollable at speed. Many cars have obvious visual body kits that are designed for the sole purpose of creating downforce, yet the numbers remain zero. This ends up being the GOD stat when it comes to which non-race cars (race cars all have boosted front and rear downforce) in terms of performance. I'm sick of my Ford GT '06 taking flying leaps on the track despite having the same front spoiler kit as my Ford GT LM cars that magically drive like dream machines in comparison.
I would love to see this improved on in any way in the next patch.

This is the first GT title I've played in years...Was this issue(downforce) as bad in GT4?

just work on the setup... works wonders

There should be more downforce options, like front splitters that actually work.

However some of the problems can be compensated for with suspension tuning.
