I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S2 i777 with Android 4.0.4 ICS.
Lately, I've been getting many issues, such as random shut downs. It won't switch on till I take off the battery.
I've been researching the Android forums, and people suggested that the best solution is to actually downgrade back to 2.3.6 Gingerbread.
The reason why I am posting this in GTPlanet is to get your opinion as well, as I know that there is a wealth if informative people who know about these things here
.
Now, my main question is, how would I do this? I do not want to root it in any way shape or form now, but the apparent way is to root it first, and then download the firmware?
