Download 2.0 update from pc?

Forgive me if I come off like an ass, but Im about smash my ps3 out of rage. I just purchased a PS3 earlier today with GT5. I knew I was in for some downtime, due to the amount of patches I had to download. Ten in total. The first 9 were quick downloads. Cant say the same for the final and largest update, the 2.00. Long story short, Every time I get around 75%, the download fails and I have to start over again. Believe me when I say, Im a patient guy, but this is making me go nuts. I must have restarted the damn download at least 4 times.


Anyways, I came here to ask if it were possible to download the 2.00 update on pc and transfer it to the ps3.
 
Nope, PS3 only.
 
Not really sure what to advise apart from check your connection settings, try an ethernet cable if you haven't already instead of wireless...

Shouldn't REALLY be failing unless the connection is interupted.
 
Just disconnect the PS3.
Pick it up.
Go round a mates house who has a proper hardwired DSL line with a SIX pack and pizza. download it there.... If they don't let ya there not a mate and at least you now know.
ISPs are filtering the crap out of the internet and killing gaming downloads.
 
Wait, there's a thread here I saw it once, with direct links to GT5 updates, I don't remember the name (damn it) but I remember Jordan the founder of GTP posted something there, so you could search it. I remember another user posted these links, but I forgot to add that page on favourites

EDIT: found the thread but as Jordan said it's not that easy to use them, no straight to USB to PS3, it's more complicated a tutorial is needed, but we don't have this tutorial yet.
