Download Issues for Online play

Can anyone help.

I have just got a ps3 and gt5. I have gone through all the updates including the gt5 one yet when i try to go online im confronted with a window telling me i need to download an update. So after pressing ok a download bar appears and very very slowly the bar increases. After about 10mins of waiting i get a message saying that there was an error downloading and the download is stopped.

Now normally i would think its my ps3 and my connection but a freind has had the same problem since day one on his network.

Does anybody have any ideas what could be wrong.

this has been answered many times m8 and its a common problem.

keep trying it, usually continues after 3 retrys.

Glad to hear you got GT5P tho :D
 
Thanks for your reply bud.

Funnily enough i tried again yesterday morning just before going to work. I had to leave it running but by the time i had got home it was all installed and ready to go. Just going to try and get my mates one done later but he has tried countless times to download it but it fails each time.

Guess i got luck of the draw lol
