Downloading to PC - Help!

I looked around but I couldnt find a thread that was relevant. I have a Shark/Xport and I was wondering if I am able to convert the .XPS files to a JPEG at all? I've tried downloading the photos to my Ipod but the PS2 doesnt recognise the device. Will I have to bite the bullet and buy a USB stick?
 
Yes, you have to buy a usb stick (not sure if the Ipod works or not. Check this thread for a list of compatible sticks). The .xps files can only be used by GT4 on the PS2 (or for hybrid purposes).
