DR Rating E / SR rating B half way and won't move!!

Hi Guys, I have started playing GT7 sport mode and I am currently DR:E / SR:B and the bar is half way. I have raced about 9 races and won them all (5 with clean race) but the bar isn't going up over half way! Any ideas why??
 
Are you doing Race A? That one doesn't affect DR or SR. Also, you will be DR E for your first five races no matter what. Once you race 5 races that aren't race A, you get to DR D and it can go up.

PD made Race A for fun, so you can race without worrying about rating. You can see a label on race A saying no DR/SR or something. Do race B or C 5 times and your DR will go to D
 
Sorry, feel really stupid! I had no idea.
