The GT 5 Drag Masters Association

What is the Drag Masters Association?

The Drag Masters association is a drag racing association that anyone can join that promotes clean fun drag racing. Points will be issued for each race conducted under this promotion, and a class system will be held to check and balance your skill level through the ranks.

In Summary:

1. This is a Drag Racing Association RPG.
2. A fun leveling up/Relegation system(more will be explained later)
3. Simple additional system for experience points.
4. Full option on tyres
5. Only one course required (Special Stage Oval X).

BEFORE YOU REGISTER, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PURCHASED THE SPEED TEST PACK OFF PSN. THIS CONTAINS THE ONLY CIRCUIT APPROVED TO BE THE ONLY TRACK ON THIS CIRCUIT.

Classes and what they Do

Class S: all cars are permitted up to 1000 bhp, regardless of the PP. They can be tuned however you wish, with whatever tyre you want. If a car does not have a bhp rating, then it is not allowed.

Class A: all street cars are permitted with up to 600 pp. Custom transmissions are permitted, but Ballasts can not be more than 5% of car weight. Other than that, they can be tuned however you wish.

Class B (Entry level): all street cars are permitted up to 500 pp with a year requirement of 1989 or newer. Custom transmissions are prohibited and Ballasts can not be more than 5% of total car weight with no weight reductions.

Class C: all street cars are permitted with a year requirement of 1975 or older under 450 pp. Custom transmissions are prohibited and ballasts can not be more than 5% of total car weight. Sports hard tyre or softer is permitted. You also gain 1 pp of tuning for every two years older the car is from 1975.

Core Preseason 1

This season is to mainly to scatter the potential interest into classes for the first core season. A ratio of participants will be promoted to Class A from class B and the same ratio will be relagated to Class C based on standings. It will work like the English Premier League in Soccer.

1. Start at the 0m mark at the indicated spot on the track.
2. At an Ghost signal, race to 1500m on the track.
3. Report your results on this thread.


If there is any dispute on who will go first on the track, the higher classes takes priority.​
