Im currently chillin in a drag lobby, & we are debating #s on specific cars and different matchups. In the heat of the debate, I got a lightbulb to start this thread....heard anything crazy lately? so crazy that you just had to ask?
8 sec enzos?
8.8 BE's?
:indiff::indiff::indiff:

Enzo used to be and 8.9xx car along with the GTR BE 8.905 I believe was the fastest before the latest patch but not anymore.

Are you sure?

But no, Black editions don't go 8.8 unless srf or e cheat or other BS.

Once you have put enough time into this game there are no myths or possibilities.

There's a point where you know where everything should be. The BE has been exhausted so much there are no secrets to it. It will always be a low 8.9 legit car.

I never take anyone's word in a lobby unless I know them.

I think GTPlanet is in the minority, running with skid recovery force off. I see people all the time talking about times with SRF on. I dont even bother correcting them anymore. I just race them in my car and beat them. I dont consider an SRF time a 'myth' .. just ill-informed.

A true myth is the whole 3-wide debate. I've heard all sorts of things - 3rd person is faster, slower.. they create lag, they make ghost lag, ect. I think all that is B.S personally. I dont mind if someone pulls up to me for 3wide. Just makes the race more interesting.

Most good lobbies ive been in have all aids disabled....and the ones with them enabled only 1 or 2 in 10 on average are running srf.

I find it funny entering the ones that have everything disabled but abs and srf available..... Hmmm wonder why that is :dopey:

Haha, so there you have it an 8sec Enzo.

Lol I admit to retro launching it, that's why I haven't posted it on the leaderboard, I can modifiy it so that it won't be a retro launch tune and still run 8.999 tho. When someone beats my 9.002 time on the board, I will do just that.

It creates lag but not to the ghost, to the players, surely one of the 3 will see the ghost first, thankfully there's ways to know who will get to see ghost first and also ways to prevent lag it thus giving you 90% chance you'll see it first but im not telling. That's the beuty of experience, i'm a day 1 fast drag racer and i've seen it all within the game, if you have a myth i can assure true or false. Time myths are lies even with pictures, even if the picture shows a significant time difference that could've been stage so i test it my self to conclude the cheaters actions and call his bluff, all drag times can be manipulated just to beat the top guy, i can make a BE do 8.8 or even 8.7 with the same 1.8 normal gs thus why i lose respect to most of those on the top times.

I hope this information was useful for you guys. Try your best to tune the vehicle to its self performance, no aids, no cheats, so when you race online you don't get behind. :D

Well said dude 👍

ABS has nothing to do with the vehicle performance except to not lock the breaks while stopping. I find it very annoying when i enter a room with abs turned off and that's not all, even if you turn it back on in a different room or when allowed to it won't stay on until you perform a actual race with it on so its more work to keep it on than an annoying host to just shut it off. In a legit room the onle aid that must be off is srf other than that, if you have any aids on besides abs will just make the car slower. Please pay attention to that and stop whining cause you lose over some some you could easily fix by yourself. :)

That is so true! in my rooms I like to run even 4 ways or more, who cares! this is just more interesting and fun! Even on my videos you see me running vs 4 or more!!

Its annoying leaving the pits only to find out your manual setup car you let auto drive to the strip is in automatic.

most of the ppl ive spoken with who boast about questionable times swear that SRF was off & they didnt echeat:odd::odd:

I seen veyrons do 8.6-8.7, but nothing crazy like a x1 doing 6.4 in 1/4 because the lowest I seen is 6.5

I'm gonna sound like a noob here but isn't wasting time on LSD s myth too? I don't know how useful it is on Rwd cars but iv personally ran an 8.909 in my gtr on both 60/60-5 and 5/5/5 ... No difference. I believe any differences others see is possibly just an actual better launch / run.

I know some good tuners here swear by it though.

It makes difference mostly on rwd and fwd, also on low hp awd cars. In a online room when you launch sometimes you have to correct your direction, that involves weight shift witch if you have 60 it will still grip unlike just 5 will spin more one side than the other and that apply to all cars regardless of drivetrain. Making it 60 its just a safety feature in my point of view. :)
