now im not sure if i should post this in questions and answers but its a general drag question so il put it here, for SSRX when you do a timed launch and a full throttle launch, how much is the time difference between the two.

Greatly Appreciated :)

Depends on the car. How far down in the power band the peak torque and peak power are.

Seems to be low down cars get the biggest benefit (Like the Cuda, over .1 which is huge) and some cars get none at all, like the R35 TC, and everywhere inbetween

But I suppose it averages out to about .030 - .050

I agree with this. .30-.050 seems to be about right. With a timed retro launch, you can shave almost .070 off on some cars. The ACR is a good example of this. A top tune black screen launch ranges anywhere between 9.015-9.030. A timed retro launch can take that down to as much as 8.97x. (pre patch)

haha thanks :) i was wondering because i dont know how to do the timed launch so i do the full throttle and i want to know how much its effecting my time compared to the leaderboards pre 2.08 taking off that extra .010 after 2.08 but thanks sean and slash :) greatly appreciated :)

for the cuda where should u time it around "5.5 -5.8rpm ?

the Cuda you want to be around 3500

click on settings, and then on the settings sheet where the power band is, click the right most tab, it will tell you where the car makes peak Torque - this is where you want your RPMs to be when the timer launches you

takes practice and not all cars will prefer peak Torque - just most of them
