MidNight HP
It looks as if my secret odd tuner is found by others. I was looking at this car for Weeks trying to figure it out. Dragging this car against equel HP could be a killer.

A wow car waiting to happen.

It's too heavy, it's more suited to r34 level cars

the zzii seems like it has better potential for drag racing, of course I'm just making an assumption based on the leaderboards, where the ZZII is easily under 9.0 and the fastest nuvolari quattro is at 9.1 something I believe. The guy he raced must have had a really good tune.

Unfortunately, nobody seems to drag slower cars. It's always either the "big boys" (Viper, GT, etc.) or FWD Hondas, with the occasional classic American cars roaming about. I'd love to see some PP restricted drag racing...

Thats what I always look for. The GTRs and Vipers get old.

The best low HP sleeper is the Honda accord 03. That car kills any civics or nsx if tuned right. I just brought one from ucd and I have her running mid 11s. Should have her down in the 11.2s later.

Considering the HP on this car it falls in a different bracket if you ask me, if you pull one of these out I would not race you with my Civic on the other hand an NSX I don't think so.

And yes the premium Volvo will kill any Civic but tuned properly.

The HP on those cars are not far apart and I think the Volvo is still in the mid 400HP range.

To me if you can tune a civic to get to top speed faster, it can take out either car

I like my Pontiac Solstice. Running 10.9's with 442 hp. I think it could get into the 10.8's, its an old tune and my trans isn't flipped properly. It stays ahead of Srt-4's until around 2/3rds track.

True but then you won't be tuning for the 1/4 mile you'll be needing more track.

@Mikeybc
Soltice running 10.9's thats impressive I forgot I have one, gonna give it a shot and see where I land.

I think if anything motors should be where cars are matched. 4 bangers, 6's, 8's, etc...
Forced induction on say a 4 banger can easily make it compete IRL but still... there's no replacement for displacement!

I didnt mean top overall speed, I meant its 1/4mile speed.

What can both cars run in a 1/4mile? Like 130 or more.

Ofcourse we wont need more track for that.

Thats normal
RWD cars are the fastest and then are the FWD and last the 4WD
But only in preped race tracks!!!!!

The Nuvolari really surprised me when I ran it through the speedtest at Route X - Launched with a 1.57g and ran a 9.451s quarter mile. No doubt, more proficient drag tuners will get much lower times than this though.
It's definitely a bit of a sleeper, it's roughly as quick as some of my LMP race cars over the quarter mile, although I don't claim to be a great drag tuner, so this may really just be my failing.
