SSRX is perfect for top speed tuning. This oval is also ideal for 1/4 mile tuning because of the marked distances. Im trying to find a marked distance that is similar to the tunnel in SSR7 for the people who enjoy tuning for this distance. I reach similar speeds as SSR7 from the start/finish line to the 2500-3000 marker in SSRX. I want other opinions and ideas on where to run.

Tunnel is 3042 metres long if I remember right, but I probably don't!

This has been bothering me too. I have all these tunnel drag tunes, and now they're useless? I was hoping to see people running full mile and other stuff online, but they're all still fussing about the 1/4 mile which, in my opinion, hasn't changed a bit.

the group i race with does lots of mile runs, a few top speed, and very few 1/4 runs... i'm gonna try to get them into 2-3 mile runs (3200-4800m) cause i think that'll be fun as well

Tunnel?

Maybe the full mile, but I don't know.

Yah I was thinking it would be between 2500m and 3000m but didn't want to start tuning until the big names in tunnel agreed on everything.

I will say that 1k meters is fun :)

I hope they cut it down to 1 mile, but I'll just wait until a distance is decided.

The mile would be fun too but the tunnel just seems like the perfect distance. I guess I'll see how things turn out before I change tunes!

once you get into longer distances it starts to become more about the horsepower than the tune

Not all the time...there are lower hp cars that beat higher hp cars in the tunnel...and as with every drag its ALWAYS about the tune

So a 200hp car will beat a 600hp car with the right tune?

If the guy with the 600 hp car doesnt know how to tune at all and the 200hp car weighs 600kg and is a top tuner... :sly:

Must be slow veyrons, as a good veyron will put 2 cars plus on my ZZII and I'm not slow

Indeed a poorly tuned or possibly untuned veyron, but I was just confirming ptk's statement.👍 My ZZII has never beaten a Veyron. Would've loved to see the look on that kids face when his fastest car evaaar got beat by a ZZII though:lol:

it is quite a laugh, my viper acr beat a noobs veyron on the topgear drag and then he was calling me a cheater lol

Guess we start tuning for the mile, seems like most people are in favor of this. Is this the end for the tunnel? Do you guys think SSRX will be just as competitive?
