Just post your most dramatic experiences with GT6 endurance races. I've only done a few but all of them have been exciting and dramatic in at least one way or another. If possible try and get photos of especially dramatic moments, or even a whole race reply.

Took a good lead with the AMG GT3 at Suzuka, 2nd to last lap I pitted and lost 4 places. Drove through pouring rain at speeds faster than my dry lap (I was driving more reckless to make up for lost time). At the last lap it was just me and an Audi R8 LMS in first place, with the AI being as sharp as a blunt rock it refused to cede overtake but pulled a dirty bump maneuver to make me spin out. I radioed my team principal to file a complaint to the FIA on such a dirty tactic, but to no avail. On the 2nd to last corner, the Audi eased off and I stole it on the inside, and quickly finished the last corner taking mind to try to stop the overtake, and I won. Audi was about .017 seconds behind me.

With the endurance races, do they finally have car regulations? IE: You can't drive an X2011 in them, only LMP's?

I would like to try and win with a heavily tuned supercar (Ford GT).

Nope. Not possibe to drive with x2011, but with nearly anything else it is.

The 'Super' Races are NOT Endurance Races.

My most exciting moment with the 'Super' Races was getting first place on Silverstone 10-lap with the Redbull Junior. Not really exciting, but none of these races are very exciting for me; they do not compare in the least to 24 hour race at the Nurburgring (GT5) against LeMans class vehicles with a GTR V-spec and only winning by a lap or so.

I did the Silverstone race in a Ford GT Spec II on RS tires. Top AI car was the Fina F1 McLaren. I managed to catch and overtake him on the last lap while he was lapping traffic. Once we got through the lapped traffic he was right on my rear bumper the rest of the lap. I made sure take an inside line in the last corner so he could not get inside of me and though I had it in the bag but I failed to noticed how worn my rear tires had became and used just a bit to much throttle coming out of that corner and threw the Ford sideways. I managed to recover but only to see the F1 cruise past me for the win.

Good race :)

I went back in another car to try again and won easily but the Fina F1 was not in the lineup. He had beaten the top AI car in this race by 30 seconds the race before so winning was not that hard without him in there.

This is pretty dramatic. Just did the Suzuka race.
I was never really int he race with the SLS GT3 @610PP as the leaders were running 2:02 laps to my 2:06 laps.
It was raining starting from lap 2 but the track condition icon showed 0% til lap 7, when the icon climbed to 15%, and it was again 0% within 5s of the rain letting up even though rooster tails were coming up. Majority of the cars pitted 3 times, the front runners just once putting me in 5th, 60s behind. I used less than 1/2 the tank the first 5 laps and figured would need about the same +5liters for the next 5, but I was wrong. Ran out of gas entering Spoon on lap 10. Sputtered to the finish in 15th. :dopey:

Playing GT3 a buddy and I got loaded, extremely loaded, everclear loaded, I passed out, came to, it was my turn to drive...long story short we were using one of the black F1 cars so we had a big big lead. Well my buddy told me to wake him up when it was his turn, oops, i crashed out again with like 20 laps to go, I came to and we had to battle back being a few laps down to pass the leader on the last lap. Ahhhhhh Getting smashed and playing GT3 is great way to spend your Friday nights.

Was player 24mins Le Mans. The clock remains less than 1 minute and I was in 5th place. Was expecting to get 5th place at finish line.
And then all the AI in front of me get into pit station and I laughed out and win by more than 20 secs.

I pitted at lemans and coming out of the pitlane with 2 laps remaining i noticed i took to less fuel so i had to pit again with one lap to go.
fortunately p1 also had to pit and going in the last lap he was 10 seconds ahead. I could make up the gap and took him before the esses.

Someone got advice for a good car for Ascari and Willow (i hate willow)?

On gt300 endurance serie that is starting, test race1 at gvs, i had a great start running in 4th for long with my rx7 but even if having a better pace i was uinable to overtake the 2 brz in front of me. I stupidly killed my tires and had a bad call trying to pit earlyt for racing mediums... I dropped to second to last position. Had a very long stint on medium and got back again up to 4th. After 20 laps my medium were well done and i dropped 2 posiitions. I switched back to race soft, my opponents went back to pit too, and with a fast run i managed to get back in 4th.

Sadly i pitted too early and i had a 4 final lap battle with a is350 that on the very last lap managed to pass me thanks to fresher tires... After 1:41 i ended fifth 2 seconds short of fourth after wasting at least 40 seconds with bad strategy decisions...

Epic, and it was just a test race! :)

cant remember which i used but it was either the gt lm test car spec II or the pescarolo c60 hybride judd '05. probably the judd.

In Le Mans, I was having to pit every two laps for fuel - i'd run out on the third lap! I was using the Pescarolo C60 Judd. Quite good fun, if a little annoying.

On the Spa race, I used the Formula GT (I had to limit power). The problem was, it doesn't have any headlights! You really can't see anything at night. I had to turn on the racing line to be able to see where to go! Good fun if you want a challenge. You'll still be able to win because you'll smoke the AI in the faster corners, and your tyres will last longer.

I ran the Audi R8 LMP and had to short shift the 3rd lap in order to get 3 lap stints.

you speak of willow? Ascari lets youn only use normal cars, im not sure about willow.

At the 24 Minutes of Le Mans I was leading at the end of the 6th lap and had to pit with seconds to go in the race. I was rear ended and passed by an AI entering the pits. We both crossed the start finish before the clock expired, requiring a 7th lap. One AI did not pit but upon crossing the start/finish he slowed to 50 mph as if the race was over. The AI that had pitted ahead of me would not pass him.

I refuse to call 20 minutes races as endurances.

I honestly think the same about 24 hour races with no engine wear/breakage or damage.
With the latter I mean damage that will keep you in the pits for a substantial amount of time (or the rest of the race).
As long as those things are not in, I'd rather drive for about 2 hours (24 minutes is a bit too short for me too) than 24.

Is nobody else going to acknowledge this?

I know this pro bulb a dumb question, but I cannot detune the formula gt enough to be able to use it in any event. It only goes to 786. How do you get it down to 750?
