Im going to try to win the dream car championship. In your guys opion what is the best of the four cars Mitsubishi FTO LM Race Car, Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car, Honda S2000 LM Race Car, Subaru Impreza LM Race Car? :confused: :confused: Opps dont have the right lisence but im getting it right now so still answer the question!
 
I'd go with the RX-7, but that's just because I'm a rotor-head. The FTO is pretty nice too, but a bit fishy in the corners. The S2000 has always seemed underpowered in the game, but it sure is pretty (: The Sube ... well I've never driven one.

i have every color of everyone of those cars...

in terms of looks AND performance...the RX-7 would be your best bet! Try and get the black or blue one!

I don't have any ): I'm probably the biggest RX-7 nut at GTPlanet and I don't even have an RX-7 LM in the stupid game! This sucks ...

I've tried on multiple occations, GT3 does not like me. Maybe I'll give it another shot today.

Seriously, i really like both the RX7 LM and the FTO LM... the Impreza's good, the S2000 too... i really hate the Altezza... too porky!

he traded his 944 for a 95 FD, dark green over tan. we haven't driven it yet, it's sitting in the garage, waiting for the summer... Knowing my dad, it'll stay stock... :(

Drooooooooooooool .... There was one of those in my town. The guy was pretty much clueless. All he knew was that it was pretty. I'm sure at the first sign of trouble he went to get it fixed and they told him all the problem with rotary engines. I haven't seen it in a couple years.

I'd like a dark green 2001 RX-7 RS ... and tan interior sounds pretty nice too. I am so jelious (:

Loud, why dont you save it after the 5 th race then quit the next two you are gaurnteed to get one if you do it that way. Sorry about spelling. :D :D

Ha ha! Well, I guess the difference between MazKid and I ... I'm not a Mazda fan, I'm a rotary fan. Oh and the other big one, I can buy my own car - lookout RX-8, here I come! (:

Im a little late i see but I think the s2000 is the best one out of those and RX7 is also awsome.

That's kind of the impression I was getting today. I was running this series to win a bunch of RX-7 LMs (one of each color) and to make the process more enjoyable I tried to do it in competetive cars. The S2000 seemed to handle slightly better, but the RX-7 was quicker out of the corners. It's kind of a toss up - which element you'd rather have.

personnally, i think the RX7 is more tail happy, which suits me better. the Impreza has huge understeer, and the FTO drifts like mad...

I prefer to drift... :D that's why the RX7 LM is one of my favorite Dream Cars!

Your dad bought a Le Mans Car ???????? He has a couple of millions to spend for an LM ??? WOW !!! Only a set of tyres for that monster would cost you 50 grandsi let aside the maint costs !! Besides, since it is not street legal, how does your dad plan to drive it ? On the strip ???
 
ermmm... he bought an RX7... try to read between the lines... the LM cars are not even real...
 
Okay, I do believe the LM Cars are all real, every single one. Plus I bet there are a few that I don't even know about. I think all those cars are awesome, I am working towards winning all of the cars. I have the Impreza, it is alright. I have only driven it for one series I think. I have yet to get an RX-7 LM, but I will bet it is awesome, like most everything...

I believe any of them will do you good, just a choice of the one you think is prettier or whatever.

The LM cars in the Sony GT (GranTurismo) series are not actual real world cars. They are moddeled after the idea of GT (Grand Touring) class cars. You will notice the Playstation, Sony, and Poliphony Digital markings on all the LM cars. Real cars in the game are properly marked.

The only exception that I have come across is the Nissan R390 LM Race Car, which I believe was simply named incorrectly. It should be named 'Calsonic R390', because it actually exists.

Okay, thank you for the correction Loudmusic. I will not argue any point made there. I will throw a question back at you though. I know all the F1 cars are real, at least based on real cars. How come the F090/S is totally Gran Turismo badged?? The orange is so blah, but huge GT letters cover the car. Why is this....?

As far as the R390, I have seen it referred both ways.... Nissan and Calsonic. So if all the LM Cars on GT aren't real, what LM Race Cars do actually exist....? Just a thought now.....

But except the part you state the cars in GT3 are not real, I will have to disagree. LM cars do exist and they are there for actually testing themselves.
In other words, when a high perf engine, part or car is to be made, it is tested on a course (F1/2/3 or LM or GTC , even rally) , depending on the brand of the car, tyre or whatever. For example weird as it may seem, the undercarriage on the Opel Astra, is the Lotus (or McLaren if I am not right) design, actually tested out on GTC races.
So on every grounds, I have sufficiently reasonable evidence to believe that LM cars DO exist.
 
I have the RX-7 LM, Impreza LM it takes some tunning to get it sweet as!, Altezza LM, Loads more kool LM cars!
 
go for the subaru LM. supe the beast up and put some dirt tyres on.
