Alright, I asked this question before, but it got lost in a larger thread. I've been observing the fantasy LM cars and have noticed a lot of them seem to be painted to honor historic vehicles. Can someone tell me what vehicles they honor? Thanks.
 
they do? never noticed. so the S2000 LM is based on something in real life?

And there is the Ford GT painted like the 69 Gulf..GT40
 
The 350Z LM Race Car is painted like the old Nissan 300ZX that used to run in the IMSA GTS class. It ran at Le Mans in 1994 and probably many other races around that time period as well. I don't know of any others.

I swear that car^^^^^was in GT2 and i loved it!! used to love driving it round rome for some reason! sorry for the offtopic post.

Alright, thanks for the info. There are five cars' paint jobs that I'm mainly wondering about: The Honda NSX-R Prototype LM, Nissan GT-R Concept LM, Mazda 6 touring car, Mitsubishi CZ-3 Tarmac Rally Car and EVO VIII Super Rally Car. Plus, I'm wondering if the Camaro LM, Zonda LM, and FTO Super Touring Car even commerate historic vehicles(I'm guessing no, since they come in different colors).

it was indeed. i think a racing mod in GT1 made it too :)
