What is a car that you like so much, that you just forget your in a race for awhile and just cruise. For me its the tvr speed 6.

i would have to say the

nissan skyline R-TUNE that would be a great car to have in real life

also the sprinter trueno another great car perfect for drifting in

drifterking13

Some of the cars I have been racing in, and just forgot I was racing but more like just riding around in are the: Calsonic Skyline, Viper GTS, or Mustang SVT Cobra R.

no!
why what did it say?

v8 vantage :)

RUF RGT. When my day is going bad, I can spend 15 minutes driving around and it feels good.

I usually cruse around in my white MITSUBISHI LANCER EVOLUTION VII RS. Its a pretty good car. Its also fun to ride it in the rallies.

Cruise? Ruf RGT...:)

Supra RZ
STi Version 6
RUF RGT
Legacy Blitzen
Civic SiR Hatch (black with bronze RAY's wheels, TE37's)
Vett Z06 Black, stock rims max HP

Well, I ran the Viper GTS in the Trial Mountain enduro, and even on T5s with an unnecessary pit schedule of every 5 laps, I totally forgot that I was racing anybody. Just listening to the cool whicka-whicka-whicka-whicka-whicka sound of that V10 was good enough, and hurling that beastie up the canyon...

I can usually just cruise around in the SS Camaro, there is just something about that car that does it for me

I never 'just cruise' I am in a constant search for absolute perfection and never ever slow down aghhh....:p

What he said. :)

I think it's a little silly all the Skyline fanboys in the US who probably haven't ever even seen a Skyline IRL, but I suppose I'm just as bad when it comes to drooling over the Elise when I've probably never been within 50 miles of one.

This is a really cool site:
http://www.prototyperacing.com/

They drop Honda engines in Elises. They've got an Exige (Motor Sport Elise) with an Integra Type R engine in it that runs 0-60 in 3.7, 1-100mph in 8.9 sec...

There are a couple places that put Honda engines in Elises, since the stock engine doesn't pass emissions in the US (even though it doesn't have much power).

The plain old $33,000 Elise is so light it runs a 14.4 sec. quarter with a 118hp engine.

My dream car would have to be a regular old Elise with a B18C dropped in it and a Jackson Racing supercharger -- less twitchy, cheaper, and more torque than the K20A, and also the same displacement as the stock engine. 208 hp at the wheels in a car that weighs 1500 lbs, all for under $50,000?

OK, I'm rambling... :)

To cruise in....hmmmm......got to be the Aston Martin Vanquish. A silver one, like in the Bond Film. Then i can pretend to be bond! But the cars on GT3 dond hav rocket launchers. Or a cloaking device. Or homing shotguns. Bugger.

Or a completely un-edited Mini Cooper! Those things are so slow they cant even go upo some of the hills on the game! HAHAHAHA! They suck! Its great fun on two player. One of you is in a mini, the other is in a fully-upgraded Suzuki Escuedo (1876 BPH). The go on the 'Test course' (the oval one). One of you stays at the start, while the other goes about half way round the track, does a 180 degree turn and start pelting back the way you came (towards the other car) Then the other player accelarates towards you, and BANG!!!! The mini is sent flying backwards so fast it disintergrates whilst your Suzuki keeps on going, laughing at the mini's feeble attempt to survive. HAHAHAHA!

Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R34)

GT40 - best sounding car in the game

I'm in the USA and I have seen IRL this month a silver R32 GT-R and a light blue Elise.

I'd wouldn't put a honda engine in mine, were i to get one....I'd rather have a car with some balls!:trouble:

Nissan R390 road car stock...

beautiful just cruising along...perfect handling and a subtle power boost when needed....

Iv seen both a skyline and an elise in person.

Although not the greatest handling car in the game,

The AC Shelby Cobra 427 is my dream car.

I would rather own a replica than an original...

Powered by a Novi2000 supercharged SVO 351 smallblock ford motor.

Ideally it would make around 500 horsepower at the wheels, not be TOO loud, and have the ability to crank up the boost, add some drag slicks to the rear and go tear off some 1/4 mile ET's,

then go off to the local auto-x or road course and have some fun there.

Here are my top 10. In no specific order.
You didn't really think I could narrow it down did you?

1. AE86 Trueno GT-APEX S.S. Vers.

2. Mazda 787B (at about 8k RPM, in full song)

3. Acura RSX Type-S

4. Any Nissan Skyline

5. Toyota Supra RZ (Grayish Green Mica Metallic)

6. Honda NSX Type-R

7. Spoon Civic Type-R

8. Spoon S2000 (Non-Race)

9. Honda Civic SiR-II

10. PT Cruiser (I know...I know...)
