Dream race?

I'm just wondering in how to get the dream race trophy. I have tried to do the historic cup with the Ferrari 330 p4, ford mark II, and the xj13 jag race car.... And I didnt really have a chance. (now that I think about it I might have had stock tires). Is there any other way to get tho trophy?
 
What do you mean you didnt have a chance?
That race is really easy if you have the 3 cars, and you seem to have them all.

I might have had stock tires. But ill do it when I get the chance again, didn't tune or anything
 
Upgrade the XJ, and put racing softs.
Make sure the Chaparral sucker car doesn't start in 1st, if he does he is hard to catch.

Will do, I hate when people mention the 2j -_-... at the beginning I did a bunch of seasonals and was able to get that car from ucd. But didn't because I was saving for 330 p4....then I found out it's like rarest car...fml
 
I beat it with the 330 p4 with stock tires at monaco straight from the ncd no oil change or anything
