I really hate to bother everyone on this forum, but since I am a complete noob when it comes to web design, I would love some help. And, based on what I have read throughout some of the random threads throughout this forum, the people posting here definitely know what they are talking about.

Basically, I would love some help figuring out how to modify an existing site with Dreamweaver MX. I got the whole Macromedia MX set thing, and I could show you the existing site, which needs some serious attention.

It is my fraternity's website that hasn't been updated for almost 8 years and since it hasn't, they voted me to be the most likely to fix the dilemma. Now, my job is pretty hard, but I am definitely up for a challenge. I would like to know some helpful sites and or tutorials you guys/gals have made/used before. If you could help me out a little, I would be much obliged.

Thanks again,
Toyo

I would also like to learn how to make some flash stuff, like that lame song thing we have. It would come in handy when I make a title page. I was thinking a globe with our greek letters floating around it. It was also going to be the initial navigation bar on both sides. If you can't understand it, I could post a basic drawing of it.

Forgot to say this earlier, but I don't have the orange book. It was stolen by a friend and he lost it, which sucks for me.

Anyways, Flash is a bit complicated to learn. I'm still learning it myself. I would say start off with HTML website.

I remeber seeing one in that long list of links for Photoshop help in the Digital Art Help board. Ill look for it.

Well, it took me long enough to give an update, I shouldn't even call it one. The site will be up this week, so really it's a date, not an update. :D Here's a picture to give you guys an appetite.
