IMHO, drifting difficulty per tracks...

Beginner:
Trial Mountain
Midfield Raceway
...Tahiti Maze (Rally yes, but great to practice)

Amateur:
Apricot Hill
Special Stage Route 5 (Wet)
Tokyo R246

Expert:
Any Track :)
..Special State/Route courses
...Seattle Circuit
...Complex String

I learned how to drift at apricot hill raceway.........
just pratice the big turn all day once you drift that whole thing
drifting other corners will be easy IMO:D

I learned to drift on midfield. Once you can drift every single corner in Midfield (besides the little chicane after turn 1) you'll be pretty set for any course, IMO.

I learned drifting @ motor sports land, with a stock blue sileighty. I remember back then it was basicly stock, as soon as I won it I was so HAPPY and suprised it was in the game that I just rushed to arcade mode and drifted for days on motor sports land. :)

These are my favorite courses. If I were to start learning how to drift all over again, I would start on Special Stage Route 5. It's also the course I tune most of my cars on. It really forces you to learn how to transfer your weight effectively if you want to do any decent drifting.

Amateur:
Grand Valley Speedway
Laguna Seca
Special Stage Route 11
Midfield II

Intermediate:
Special Stage Route 5
Tokyo 246

Pro:
Trial Mountain
Deep Forest
Cote d'Azur

i think this is how i would rank them...

basically begin on a track you are good at regular driving on... one you are used to... it will help cause you will know the flow of hte track already

Beginner:
Midfield I and II
Deep Forest
Tokyo 246

Amateur:
Grand Valley Speedway I
Special Stage Route 11
Apricot Hill I ( II limits where you can drift)
Trial Mountain I

Intermediate:
Special Stage Route 5 wet
Laguna Seca

Pro:
Cote d'Azur

me too , try apricot I and deep forest, super speedway, and of course, the ledgendary Tokyo R246
