Drift Battle this Friday..

well gonna head over to my friend's place on friday to do a huge battle.

My friend has GT3 and he says he's pretty good. I have faced him and beat him, but then he denied it.. it is time for serious drifting.

Since I do not have a ps2 I cannot practice. He has got the advantage.. soo I dunno what I should do.. he might win.. or he might lose..

tracks : Tokyo, Trial MT, Midfield, SSR5
Cars : Friend A : 180sx Type X, C-West Razo S15, Evo 6
Friend B : Evo 6, R34, FD
Me : SS 86, SW20, R34

1st Round : Me VS Friend A
SS 86 VS 180SX
Track : Trial MT (Friend A's home course)
2nd round : Friend B VS Friend A
C-West S15 VS FD
Track: Midfield (Friend B's home course)
3rd Round : Me Vs Friend B
SS 86 VS FD
track: SSR5 (My home course)
4th Round : Friend A vs Me
C-West S15 VS SW20
track: Tokyo
5th round Friend B VS Me
R34 VS R34 :D <- gonna be a great battle :D
track: Tokyo
6th round : Friend A vs Friend B
EVo 6 VS FD
track : Trial MT

well that's like most of it.. if you guys want any good battles post here before friday.. yes I know, one day's notice..

and wish me luck! cause I am going to need allot..
 
thanks celica.. and layzeeboi.. I might consider that option.. so does anyone want us to battle on other tracks? I'm thinking we should do Rome too.. :D
 
hey remember, when he's in front of you and you need to get in front, dont get panick or else you will start to hit the walls, because i do that when i'm in back and i know im loosing, i kind of go to fast and crash, so concentrate hard and just be patient until the finish line is close up. how do drift battles work, actaully?

see who can pull the best drift? or see who finishes the race first, with the guideline they much drift each corner?

oh, and is there anywhere to make it so the two cars are head to head in 2 player battle mode?
 
it depends on what kinda of battle it is, there all sorts, but in gt3 there exhibition and race, exhibition is who has the most impressive drift (baiscally), race is drifting as fast as you can around the track, so in 2 player mode you would race drift,

question: is there anyway to set it so that both cars are head to head at the start line in a 2P versus battle?

I think bumping threads is not allowed here...
 
well the battles where screwed up.. so we decided to have a different match..

anyway.. yeah.. we had a great time. and everyone lost to me.. seriously...
 
hehe rock on man. I recently held a competition just between a friend and myself, I won, hands down, lol. I have a friend who used to drift irl, I whooped him too, hehe. Drifting is way too much fun in GT3. I even got my mom interested, and she HATES video games. She spent like 4 hours straight learning to drift the other day, lol.
 
I've had a compeition. Myself, my girlfriend, two of my friends and one of hers.

She beat me.. But 2/5 isnt bad..shes also had more practice then I have.
