Hi drifters, I was wondering if we could talk about drifting and stuff here:)

TRACK: motorsports land
CAR: impreza WRX-R (fully moded)
STYLE: drifting
BEST: in my supra at midfeild taking Turn#1 as sideways as possible(during a race) and sliding past a green camaro

My sikest moment was going down the corkscrew (laguna seca) in my 67 couger (WHAT A JEM THIS CAR IS!!) and i spun, and it was not just any spin, but a full 360 spin going bout 80-120kmh, and not going of the track or stoping and i still kept the lead!

i just do it sometimes, its more fun that way, rather then trying.....you always get better drifts if you aren't trying

I like drifting - when the lap times are good. Some cars in some circuits make good use of drifting (Tigra ice race car in seattle f.e.) but seldom do they get worst times when driving "straight" or drifting slightly. So... competitive drifting, always with super softs and such. Crazy take-an-hour-to-a-quick-corner drifting , well sometimes, just for fun:D

Hey man, i can drive, but drifting can be fun. if i am raceing seriously, i won't drift.

drifting can also be good to keep the cars rpm (more hp) high around small tight corners, but if you loose to much traction you will crash, or slow down to much

I was coming down off the corkscrew in Laguna Seca, doing around 140-150 :D, as I came down, spun about 4-5 times, and kept going. Wasn't really a drift but meh. I also drifted the last corner before the finish on Motorsports Land in a 90 FC3S

What? a Difting thread without me?

My fav cars...... Audi S4 and the 4-Door Nismo GT-R Skyline

My fave tracks..... Laguna Seca and Autum Ring Mini

Too the guys who say "drifting is for ppl who can't drive" or whatever bulls hit. Running a race while drifting every possible corner and still winning by 10+ seconds is a good bit harder than running tight corners and a clean race.

And, to the guys who say drifting is "usefull" in racing for keeping rev's up... Have you ever heard of downshifting?

Again...there is a forum specifically for drifting. Please keep all threads there.

I know that,Istarted this before the "drift" forum (FEB. 1) .Does anyone use the BMW328ci for drifting. It's a nice car for gett'n sidewayz.

I CANNOT believe you ressurected a thread nearly a year old to add a one-line response. I'm going to go to the mall to buy a new copy of GT3 now, and laugh myself stupid at your antics, drifter115.

Congratulations, you're a simpleton!

whoa!! Dude this is back from tha' day!!Well, let's start talking about drifting again, who here like heavy 4-door drift machines?(EX.chaser)

hey bud, im still a noob at this stuff. but still, just because ur on the internet doesnt mean you can talk smack to everylittle thing........besides i may have got the thread up and running again:lol:

Er...Why? It was obviously dead 10 months ago, so why just start it up again? There are plenty of active drift threads out there, so why not just discuss in one of those?

Me! In fact, I'm trying to get this A31 Cefiro right now, he lives like 4 blocks away, and I have talked to the owner. Anyways, 4-door drift cars look amazing when drifting, wouldn't you say?

My sickest drift ever was in my new S15. I was flyin down the road in Seattle Circuit and hen i came across the turn, I went completely sideways and almost stopped because i started to lose it but pulled out quickly. It was a crazy drift. :D

my sickest drift.......would be wtih an integra....i would be sliding, then I over-countersteer

it makes a really ugly JERK to the other side, dead smack into the wall. =(

I have a enw sickest drift. I did it yesterday with the new wheel I bought. I was driving on Deep Forest IIa nd I came to the big bend that's like a gigantic U turn. I snapped it sideways and to my surprise I was holding it. It was awesome!

I remember this one tine. I was drifting on SSR5 Wett with myRWD Vitz (Pink, thank you) and eatting a buritto. Usually I'd just pause, take a bite, go back and what not. I decided to try to drift with no hands when I bit me buritto. It worked, kinda cool on the U-turn after the tunnel. No handed 4-wheel drift in a Pink Vitz with a buritto in my hand.
