anyone knows about this game...i'm really interested on gamers reaction when they get this racing game i've been hearing its like txr and initial d. put 2gether...it has mountain races and concentrated mostly on drifting styles...i'm not sure when its comming out but if anyone knows well let me know..i was also told that the graphix is extremely exellent...

Lack of interest.

Of course, I think they made a mistake. I think they could have sold plenty of copies to the new generation of Initial D fans. (I.E. the ones who know the main character as "Tak" and his best friend as "Iggy")
 
Yeah, it was cancelled because of the $20 TXR3 price. They didn't think they would be able to sell very many copies at over twice the price. I also think they made a mistake, they could have sold a lot of copies to the new breed of ID freeks. Furthermore, if your watching the dubbed version, your missing out on a good story IMHO.;)
 
The differences between the dubbed and subtitled versions are minimal. The names, some dialog, and music are changed, the basic story is still there.

IMO, the name changes seem to be done out of convenience. I rather hear 'Tak' and 'K.T.' rather than Takumi Fujiwara and Keisuke Takahashi all day. Just to note, they do say their full names in the dubbed version, just not all the time.
 
Yeh I heard about it getting canceled too. Like everyone's talkin about ID, I hate dubbed versions, you miss alot of the story board. Too bad I dun have Initial D on my comp...
 
at first it was cancled but its coming out in feb saw it in game informer and various other places..

I saw the same date listed in a few mags, but I'm unsure if it is accurate. ;)
