When you're racing, do you just use the plain ol' grip tires or the sim tires and no traction control? I find that drifting slows you down but it's really fun and look REALLY cool. As a prediction, this thread is kind of stupid because over 85% of the peope are going to say "racing." So give me some opinions!

Racing all the time, U try "drifting" on racing mode, its fun

Yes but in Sim mode you can get simulation tires and you can turn off the traction control (the drift mode in arcade is just the car with simulation tires)

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

And yeah, I was really dissapointed that they didn't have more BMW models in the game; an addition of a couple Ms/Zs/7-series would be nice (but mostly the M5:D )

Oh, and how would you drift in racing mode? Like yank up the handbrake and try to rip through the turn? Or maybe turn off TC?

I never noticed a difference when I played either one. Guess I just cant drive. Ive been able to drift with or without the drift setting depending if its a fr car.
So, I just do the race setting and leave it at that. Its still fun.

Rally racing is where you drift.

in any other form of racing, its not call drift, its called "lack of control"

i use racing and i dont notice one difference

drift.... but i don't really notice any difference either!!! :D

I like to drift in racing, turing off all the computer aided anti-slip systems. I really wouldn't call it lack of control, unless I happen to miss my line and end up in a wall. Actually it take more control in my opinion, to make a drift. :D

That's my 12-cents on the topic..

who isn't???

ea racing has the licenses for the M3 and the M5...

any other BMW car would be kinda pointless...except for the BMW V12 LMR

i didnt know you could pick in sim....how do ya do that??i thought only in arcade u pick between drift and racing....
