Who is ganna be with who well if it counts shotgun with Cudaman LMAO!!All new physics over 100 tracks all new cars including vintage to the latest cars, well it looks as though GT-4 will be the most competitive racer to hit the ps2 with its online play, no more sharing a screen trying to hear your own car(unless for those who have i-link) we will all be sitting infront of our own t.vs connecting to a race which involves three on three team drift!!!

(busting my nuts waiting for this) this will be a spectacular site to see i cant wait!!!

The all new replays man this game will be off the hook by the sounds of it, i cant wait to get me an M-Spec R-34!!! weheee Drift Suckaa Drift alll the way.......ohh too much

i often have dreams like that which i wake up sweating like a wisconsin league bowler in Sudan.

speculation: with the ilink connecting several playstation units, they can all play simontainiously, right? up to like 8 i think (correct me on this)
will each unit need to have a network adapter to play online? or will just one of the connceted units provide the connection?

there's a network adapter you have to buy. it plugs into that large space on the back of the PS2...i dunno what the max number of players will be. at least 6 i hope. drift teams will be pretty popular...dunno who wants to be on a team with me

my style is slow and smokey...most people just use the wussy 900hp slick tire cars though, so i wouldn't fit on that team.

its already started,
a soarer? great idea dood. nobody ever puts the attetntion on these cars. my neigbor drives one. all stock but a beatiful high performance sickly green color :lol:

the team catagories could be an object of speculation themselves. like a 3000gt twin turbo twins
or holiday coordinating christmas colors? easter colors? halloweenies? this could get ugly. :lol:

It is going to be great with the drift teams But I gots a 56k so how would that work or will it give the big shaft xbox style.

It will probably give you the big shaft. I'm really curious how they're going to deal with latency issues. In other words, it takes a certain amount of time for your maneuvers to travel across the Internet and to the other players. Even though that amount of time these days tends to be well under a second, what happens if during that time someone else moves into the space which you maneuvered into? The most important time in that game will be when two or more players are very close together, it seems like this will also be the most crucial time for latency handling.

hey you are already in a drift team :rolleyes:

but any ways when gt4 comes out I think there should be a sticky trend for setting up battles or things like team drifting and such but anything related to online drifting

oh and there is going to be up to 6 players online because PD kept the old 6 style car layout.

hey lan evo... my style for exhibition is 300-400 hp and lots of smoke with nice angles and smooth exits... on sims...

but i can do with same hp on slicks but faster...

yeah me too..the only difference I find between High HP-Slicks and Low HP-Sims is the speed on the straights. You have pretty much the same control with both in a turn...throttle steer is about the same and everything....the only difference is the speed.

Well that will be the issue then, in our teams we'll have divisions for Speed Drifting, and Exhibition showy drifting. I will personally volunteer for exhibition, simply because i've learned to master the Constant smoke affect of sims I.E. e-Braking/ downshift-Accelerating between the corners to have 1 consistant "Drift" so to speak

well to all you guys out there drifting high hp cars well more power to you but i drift only with the ae86 shigeno version only suspension are replaced and a little mod my car is just stock with sims on it. i call it my tofu car because i could do tofu drifts with it and i could link my drifts with it. oh yeah my car is only 256 hp. it works perfectly fine. i tried the settings on other cars posted here they seem to be really smoky and hard to control so more props to you guys.
