It's finally here! Six minutes of drifts that will amaze you ;) The video is about 30MB for now, but if I can find someone that can host a 60MB version then that'll rock! :D It's encoded with DivX, with a .wmv format.

Here it is: Drift Right On

August 10, 2004: Wow, it's been a while. Just thought I would fix the link and let new members watch it.

Very nice i give it a 👍 👍 👍 👍 /5
IT could have been better on some of the evo drifts and skyline drifts. Way to represent the R32 omg i love that car anyway i look forward to seeing more from you and dont forget about that other vid ehh

omfg thios u back hehehe j/k like your drift u make me to drift again ...hehehe loved all 4wd cars drift awesome m8 ...

credit 4.95/5 :)

Good Job Thio!👍

There were a couple drifts that looked sketchy, but overall I thought it was really good. I loved the Apricot II shot about 1:38 into the vid where you slide out and over the rumble strip with the back wheels and then it looks like you just slingshot out of the corner. Badass.

Great Drifts! Smooth and clean. 👍 very nice counter-steer ;). Hoping to see more vids from you Thio!. Keep it up!.

-HAHA how long did it take you to upload 28 megs. . Yeah 56k sux. I used to be in that position

Thanks guys. I am glad to hear that you all enjoyed the video :D

bustwave.: 5 hours. I can't wait until AOL crashes and burns  ...

Thio, I talked to flohtingPoint and he said he doesnt care if you host your file on his webserver as he has plenty of space and spare bandwidth this month. Send me a PM with some information on how we can talk and we'll see if we can work something out. :D

Very nice drifts, I really liked the small angled, controlled 4wd drifts with the wheel. It had certain elegance to it that massive angled 4wd drifts just don’t have. However, my favorite drift was with the Altezza on Seattle, it was very well executed and you got a great view of the weight of the car shifting.

On the creative side I didn’t care for the music, not much of a fan of repetitive techno (or what ever that was). I felt it needed something a little more complicated to time it to, be it techno or what not, but I feel that drifting requires something a little more dynamic.

Good vid Thio. Good editing. I think you should have left out a few of those clips, and there were more than a few sketchy drifts, but it sure does make me want that damn, elusive, Driving Force Pro!!! lol

;)

I'm taking down all of my vids, so that should free up some space. Thankyou for giving me a place to keep my vids, for a number of months. I am very grateful. I have access to a server now, so I do not require your space................ ;)

Okay, I'll take down the video then. Thanks for hosting all of my videos in the past ;)

Sorry :(

Mathematix: I'll PM you about the hosting later. I have school to worry about right now :irked:

You don't need to delete it. What I'm saying is that I could free some outdated drift videos for the new ones.

However, it is safe to say that we do need a couple new hosters ;)

I can talk to floh after lunch and see if he'd be willing to break up some of his bandwidth to let people publicly host. He's all pissy today cause the cleaning people that come to our office moved around some of his crap, but after lunch he should be in a better mood :p

The thing about Thio is that he uses his modem to upload his files, therefore he spent a great deal of time with this (56K can only upload at a rate of 1kb/s or so). Unless he uploaded it while he was asleep, it is a rather heroic attempt in this time and age...

Let me see if I can recompress it first...

Catch, I'm going to upload the video as soon as I go to school tomorrow. I've been busy wirh like 7 projects with all of them due around the same time. Thank gosh that time passed, so I have more energy to focus my energy on GTP now :)

It'll have the same link to keep simplicity ;)

I put the video back onto 19xx's server. The link should work now.

Thanks to 19xx for hosting it and sorry for not doing this earlier.
