I dont know why, but A few months ago, maby a year, I built a Drift RX-7 In GT2 Specially for SS Route. A few months later, I build a Grip R32 GTR, Not so high on horse power but im deffenetly sure it had a bit more then the FC. Belive it or not, I couldnt catch up to the FC's ghost.

FC Tire Setup
F - Stock Tire
B - Simulation
32 Tire Setup
F - Sport Tire
R - Sport Tire

I belive its possible to do Drift/Grip Races, cause in most situations Drifting before the turn to setup for the exit can help, mostly when a AWD Grip setup can understeer its ass off, and take the turns at much lower speeds.

Im going to retest this with a AWD GTR 32 Again, but this time I will change tires on the FC.

hey u wanna see grip race, check our video down the bottom says fastest lap, me and akina_86's video, but grip and speed drifting really helps, thats what i did too

maybe it's because it's DIFFERENT CARS..with DIFFERENT DRIVETRAINS..That respond to DIFFERENT POWER...I mean...A 370HP 22B IS Alot quicker than a 430HP Evo VI T.M.E...And my 408 HP FC3S whoops the CRAP out of my 430HP FD3S

Ok wise guy, maby its becouse s14's dont come with sohc motors too right? im only stating this becouse i was expecting the 32 too win against the fc becouse of the tire setup. And its pretty fun to try and catch up, reminds me of initial d, sence gtr driver couldnt beat anyone.

its also not common for a drift cart to beat a grip awd vehicle @ a circuit, i have a option video showing and comparing races, and grip seems to rule over all, but i then again it always depends on the track and the situation, so we dont have to disscuss this anymore.

Okami..it comes down to the driver...let's leave it at that..Grip has the advantage on 90% of the time...At Inclines it's a diff story..but 90% of the other times...it's grip

Because I've seen the video of the GT-R R34 being beat pretty bad by the 2 Hachiroku Trueno's and the Trueno's were combining Drifting for the inclined part of the course and Grip for the level part of the course...

thats verry true. The video is also

hey in the video where those two truenos race the skyline watch closely after keichi got serious on 2nd lap he started counter steering a little bit which mean he was drifting a little. that i call speed drift.

that mean when u angle the drift to a 15 degree angle.....
