I've been watching the wonderful drift videos you guys have made, and have been playing with some of the submitted drift settings for certain cars. Tank was also nice enough to guide me to the basics. Now after weeks of drifting with those submitted settings, my conclusions:
It's nice; I understand why the settings are set that way, but they are impractical, the car is slow during turns, and there is no way to win races with those settings.
--------------------------
I can admire the beautiful long drifts and drift angles that people are doing here, but taking an average turn at such low speeds just to control a perfect drift is ridiculous in my style.
I'm not a particular ID fan, I know GT4 is not about touge racing. However, all that I needed to assure myself that drifting to win can be done is simply watching Keiichi "Drift King" Tsuchiya drift videos. What I need help is how to drift FOR SHOW AND TO WIN, not just for show.
If anyone here plays GT4 and drifts to win, I need your input. TKS
