dang! everything's just gettin' better n' better :). i'm actually surprised they included drifting in the game, but if you think about it who hasn't, right? anyways, its all good.

speaking of games though...just got my copy of Genki's Kaido Battle. weird game. after being so used to GT3's physics, it just feels weird trying to drift (emphasis on "trying" heheh) with other games. i just hope NFS UG won't disappoint... ;)

yeah, that's the main focus in the game, customization and well of course speed. Has neone seen how the camera works when you're going like 100mph (don't really kno), the camera starts shaking like your in an airplane or sumthing, trippy stuff folks

Ill have to agree with you on that. I didnt like the way the car was drifting and it seemed a lil too....cant find the word for it but i think many of u know what i mean

blah. sounds like GT3 is still the best car game to drift with out there. i guess you gotta be passionate to make a realistic/enjoyable game (like the folks at PD). most of the other games that are including drift are only trying to cash in on the this new craze (well, new to the US anyways :) )

I think i read in some other board that kaido's going to be released there in the states. Forgot when though. As for how i got mine, i live here in Asia ;)

Oh and someone said something about GT3 being a Sim and all the others are Arcades and i actually think that's true. My bad for comparing Kaido with GT3 . But wait, even GT3's Arcade Mode handles way way WAY better than any other game out there so...ok whatever that's way outta topic anyways... sorry :)

kaido battle was okay...

Nway, I hear all these people talking about how Touge 3 is the elite drifting game but has anyone played Touge R? It was made by the same company (Atlus) and was released as an Xbox exclusive in Japan. I spent 50+80 bucks to get Kaido battle and it wasn't really worth it and I was wondering if maybe Touge R is better?

Touge R is an Xbox exclusive. There was an article at IGN where they talked about it a bit... They said something like the graphics were decent and that physics was kinda like Sega GT. nway, I'd like to know if anybody knows more about Touge R.

it seemed that they just ripped off the physics engine from Initial D....there was absolutely no technique there

oh, and the gfx looked like they were ripped from midnight club 2

All the screen shots show only Toyota cars. Where are the Acuras and Honda?

Well except for the one Ford hatchback, and Nissin Skyline, everything else is toyota.
