I wanna know whats better to use, a dual shock controller, or the logitech forcefeedback wheel? I tried the wheel last night and it was amazingly hard. Which one would help me get better? My friend said he'll sell me his for 50, is this a good deal?

$50?!?!?! What kind of wheel is it? Look it up online and see how much it originally costs. :D

There is no logitech that sells for less than $75 (even on sale)... The real question you should be asking yourself is if you really want this wheel or would you rather wait for the gt4 wheel...

Wait for the Logitech GT pro to come out (GT4 wheel), it's a much better wheel, and it will be worth the wait IMO.;)

Personally, I've been using the controller. It does the job, but I've heard that the wheel gives you more fine-steering control. I'm thinking about getting a wheel....in fact the Logitec one sells for about $40. I found a used VX3 for $15, so I'd say your friend is ripping you off. I have no experience with the wheel, so I don't know what to recommend.
If you felt that the wheel wasn't for you, then don't do it unless you got another racing game that doesn't work well with the controller.

i use the Driving force wheel

i can't use the controller fo racing games, it messes me up, i can only use a wheel and pedles.....more life like......

I prefer the dual shock cause the logitech wheel feels kinda stiff....and when i let go of the wheel, it starts jerking left and right....
Ill be using the dual shock till the new one comes out

Your drifts will look better with the wheel. You can produce better looking opposite lock drifts. Not saying that you can't with the dual shock, but you'll have to be pretty precise to prevent the wheels from moving back and forth unrealistically.

Don't forget that I'm strapped for cash I'm not really rich, my parents won't pay for this stuff cuz they say I don't need it, so I'm forced to buy my own PS2 (again). How much is the new wheel (GT) going to be when it comes out?

I use the controller, but apparently you can't use the right analog stick for accelerating and braking in GT4: Prologue.

Thus my switching over to the buttons.

Fry's Electronics had the wheel on sale for $65 over the past weekend.

This is how I think of it: Since the craze of GT4 is going to be around for a while, I might as well wait for the game and the wheel to be more affordable so that I can get a better deal. The question is: Are you willing to wait that long? I am because my parents are watching their spending now, and I don't think there is much improvement in GT4 other than better graphics, more cars and more tracks. I'm still having fun with GT3 now :) That's why I bought the wheel at Fry's on Sunday :D
