Hey i just found out a great set up for drifting (or powerslideing whatever you call it) it took me a while but this seems to work great ok

The bike i use is a GSX R 1000 (not the RM)!!!

I put on performance tires and the sports exhaust
then i change it to 2.800 gear ratio
Preload 6/4
Rebound 4/4
Bound 4/4
ok those are the basics now the complicated part the riding form is what took me the longest to find out but this is good

Head roll angle 0
Head pitch angle -8.0
Torso roll angle 25
Torso yaw angle -25
Body lean 9
Arm angle 80
Seat position -3.0
Lateral slide 5
Vertical slide 0
Leg angle 80
Body lean 8

now i found that a great track to do this is tokyo the trick is to near a corner in 1st gear(I use AT) while you turn in the corner hit the throtle a couple times and just as you exit the corner hit the throtle and let it rip as soon as your tail starts spining get of the throtle but dont panicly try to rip the bike left or right to catch it just kind of let it go back by itself it pretty tricky but with a bit of practice it becomes great fun have fun trying.

oh and if everything works the results look like this:

Nice. I've found the last corner at Fuji, the sweeping left 3 turns before the hairpin at Suzuka, and the sweeping left before the chicane at Suzuki lend themselves to lighting the rear up.

I had a beautiful slide going through that turn at Fuji on the license test. It ruined the laptime, but damn, it was sweet.
