This is a post from another forum many of you may be familiar with. It's an old post that didn't get a lot of attention, but I figure some of you might find it interesting or useful. In it I talk about my first drift event, and how my GT3 drifting experience affected my drifting performance in a real car.

My pictures from the event, including some photos taken of me, can be found here if you haven't seen them already: http://www.pbase.com/bryanh/driftfest

wow is that irwindale? you caem from up north down to irwindale in your MR2? cool 👍, but which drift thigny did you go to "Drift Show Off" or "R*S*R"?

sweet!..I love the MR2. I had a friend who had a 92 MR2 Turbo and I LOVED IT. There's nothing like the sound of a blowoff valve BEHIND you while driving hehe. 👍 👍

Good post =)
(My reply is already in the other thread so no need to restate it)

Yep, that was the RS-R Drift Festival at Irwindale. About a 4 hour drive for me. That was right after my engine swap, thankfully there were no major bugs to deal with. :)

And yeah, there's nothing quite like hearing the engine just over your shoulder. :)
