I tried driftin with the driving force pro on 900 degrees and am i crazy or is it just a little too hard!!! please reply !!! and tell me if you did it before
RX-7_FC_DrIfteRFirst off, wrong forum man. you might want to take a look around before you post.
Second, Yes you are crazy. Na just kidding, the 900*mode for the DIP, is a little more extreme, but it is possible. For example look at are french drifter Mike le chat. He use 900 and hes is very good. I can say one thing to help you out. Use the other mode, or practice practice practice.
One of you mods. move this thread to its proper place.
Suzukiit would be easier if you turned FF off. you can just unplug the power cable from the wheel. but its still no easy task.
mike le chat noI didn't seen your reply. so you can just unplug the power cable from the wheel and after you can unplug the usb cable and put the wheel in his box.
no twin turbo the solution it's p.r.a.c.t.i.c.e
you can chek that if you want.good luck man

twin_turbo11thanks guys...i was thinking practice too. im just trying to get good until i get my copy of GT4. on february 22nd. YEAH!!!!!! I was so happy wen i found out it had NOS....thats a first for in-depth simulation games(as far as i know).
BreakerOhioI don't think if you practice drifing in 900 degree mode in GT3 will help you with 900 drifting mode in GT4. GT3 doesn't support it, so its different from GT4. I know because I do drift witht the 900 degree in GT4 Prologue and the Japanese Demo. Practicing 900 degree mode in GT3 would be just for fun and a challenge of cordination and quick wheel reflexes because you'll have to bequick on the opposite locking to turn it full lock when you need it. As for GT4, the steer is precise and more acurate to a 900 degree wheel so the motion would differ when you do make that move to GT4.
I would say, since GT3 is what you got right now, go for it and have fun with the 900 mode if you can, I find it very challenging, but not impossible, props to Mike for driftign GT3 with 900 mode. I tried it, but I don't want to get practice in it because it would interfer with my GT4 drifting motions.
