I have been trying for about 6 hours, to no avail, to drift the entire first corner of the high speed ring in reverse. I have tried the z06, mustang gt, ford gt, rx7, 350z, and a few others and no matter what i do i cant the entire corner. almost every time i either understeer and do nothing or about halfway through the corner my car goes too high on the bank, and the back comes out too far and i spin out. If anyone could offer any help it would be greatly appreciated, and fyi, im using the plain old ps3 controller, no wheels or any of that.

I take it your not a beginner?

Because if you were I wouldn't advise trying to drift that particular corner at early stages of drifting.

Hell, I'm a new guy and I know that corner is way outta my league.

Lol I suggest you take it to Suzuka East & practice, or use the High Speed Ring going forward. Use the 2 corners after the 2nd turn to get your drift right.

well ive already got those two on lock, and ive nailed the whole corner about 4 times, 3 in the mustang gt and once in a quick tuned corvette. i guess thats what bothers me, i have done it but i cant do it consistently.

Experiment with different cars & keep trying till your able to get it's ways with each car you'd like to drift with.

Feint harder. Ride along the wall to ur right when it starts. As you approach the yellow flag, toss the car left, then right. Don't lift the throttle until ur close to the apex then brake hard and down shift. Set ur line, upshift and go.

haha thanks man, just as i figured out how to do this u posted it, ive managed to nail it several times in the amg mercedes, i landed in the 87th spot on the track for the amg with a 10,200...pretty proud lol, thanks for the help
