Hey ho people ! :)

I've been playing prolouge with G25 for a little while now and it's great fun, but when it comes to driftin' i just CANNOT do it. With the sixaxis i was a champ but with the wheel i just spin around in every corner. Only car i can handle well is the lancer evo 09. Reaching for the world record soon :)

But with all other cars it's just ... dunno. Been trying the Mines skyline but it's just to much power and yes you guessed right..i spinn around.

Anyone have any ideas on what i do wrong, or could do ? Set ups ? TIPS?`
Would be nice coz i wanna drift again =)

as articzap said. Start drifting some FR's. Rx-7 is a great start. And remember, GT5p is NOT a drifting game. But rather a game where drifting is being done (and pd reconized it and said ok, we give in, heres your own mode ;)) but its going to take awhile. Its just like driving a real car, minus G-forces, Hundreads of thousands of dollors, and scary sideways cornering :)

well if your having problems with high powered cars i suggest trying lower power RWD cars to start with. then move your way into higher power when you get the hang of the wheel.👍

GT5p can be used for whatever. The games slogan "The Real Driving Simulator", doesnt mean "The Real Racing Simulator". It means simulation of all forms of motorsports.

Creating a true racing simulator would mean you created real life. There are NO physics differences between racing a drifting. Tire, suspension, etc. physics do not change based on whether you're racing or drifting.

dking's got his own 900 degree drifting tutorials. go to expertvillage.com and search for GT5P drifting or anything similar to that

if at first you dont suceed just quit and sell your ps3 on ebay or something...
nah just kidding :P
It's all about using the correct techniques but nothing beats seat time!

THATS NO LIE lol or you can sell the fake phsyics game and move to better physics like pc sims ;) gt has become a joke with this demo i wish they didnt release it untill full game it has made me loose interest fully

If the online events arnt worth a damn like the ones we have now i will say anyone want a free copy of gt5p ntsc version u know where to find me just pay shipping ;)

everyone on here will give you techniques and setups but i will give you three words - Practice, Practice, Practice. get out and just drift thats the best way to learn.

Can anyone tell me what all the types mean: 4WD, MR, FW, FWD, RWD, AWD etc. if there are anyone else.

In norway we dont say so much og those stupid we say eiter fwd rwd or 4wd, but whats mrd and all that? xD

sure 4wd is 4 wheel drive ...

mr is mid engine rear wheel drive

awd is all wheel drive.

fwd is front wheel drive
