Hey guys, check out this forum ad register and tell me how you like it. I tseems pretty cool you can add performance mods and other stuff like bodykits. And if your a ricer(hope your not though) you may enjoy as well, lol.

So, you draw the mods yourself? I'd have a hard time making that look decent.

that was just confusing. i gave up after i could not figure out how to race. i got a R31 and i bought a couple of parts but it would not let me use anything for some reason. is it an entirely text game?
 
I'm trying this out now. Just spent an hour modifying my car in MSpaint.
I'm not sure the actually let you do that, but it was fun anyway.
What I did (R31 Skyline):
-2 pixel suspention drop
-muffler delete (Trying to get side exhaust working, doesn't look too good.)
-trim delete (not sure it looks better, might put it back like it was)
-wider rear tires (+2 pixels)
-licensce plate removed
-enlarged outside taillights. (R34 style)

The game seems extremely beta and doesn't appear to have a lot of support, the mods just yell at anyone who asks questions.
I can't figure out how to get a job, or even if you can get jobs yet. I really want to get that done now so if I leave the game for a while I'll have money built up when I come back.

lol i will buy some more stuff. tell me what parts you want and i will try and help you out <8- ) you want my R31 too? yeah im pretty sure im done. I don't have much patience with figuring things out ;- P i could always sell the skyline and buy more parts for you.

You could just send me the money and car, rather then going through the hassle of buying/selling things.
Going to try to find out if my mods are 'legal' ingame now.

Hey, Drifter, keep checking back here at this thread, I may need some help.

For example, I did register, and I was looking at a few cars for sale by other users, and I tried to post a reply to "bid" on a car, but it said I wasn't allowed to reply. Any suggestions?

Nice. 👍 I don't see it in your signature at Drive Street. You should put it in.

Check out what I did to a Chevy Silverado Extended Cab. I converted it to a 454SS. Took me about an hour, and I repainted the car that blargonator so graciously donated to me, and that took me about 15min. It's a pretty cool site. I just haven't quite figured out the races yet. Have you? If you have, post how it works here, or PM me, at either site.

I'll have to find a way to get money fast! EIther that or wait 1 year and just keep collecting interest.

So, is HKS going to let you keep the trailer, or are you going to have to buy one of those others? Cause presonally, I like yours more.

Man, I am trying to convince the Admins for more cars! But it so hard with some of the people there.
 
Well, like I said, credit goes to VenomR/AS-GTR.

Venom has done some really wonderful bases. I just added a black wing to go with the orange and black. But yeah, the black wheels match it prefectly. 👍

I think you misunderstood, or I just messed myself up when I wrote it, but HKS sold me the wheels, not the whole trailer. From what I've read, if you make it, it's free, so I made a trailer.

Yeah, I saw your topic that had the site with the huge amount of cars. That didn't go as planned, did it? :D I'm just kidding. There were a lot of good cars at that site, and I agree with you, they should add more!

yeah, there's about 30 more where that came from.

They're not crediting all of the other artist's stuff. :grumpy:

and there's a whole community of artists that I'm in.
 
You should get on their ass about ripping off your art, that's not cool.
After PMing an admin 3 days ago I still have no idea if their job system is actually functioning.
These guys kinda suck, it's still fun though.

Clarification: You can draw whatever you want on your car, but if you want your stats changed you have to pay somebody in one of the user shops. Also, user shops cannot affect HP (anymore).
 
You should PM them.

IMO, one mod uses his powers too much and gets on people and fines them for stupid things.

The Admin Nick is kinda a dumb*** and I'm not surprised he has "the nicest cars"
He's obvious an Intial D fanboy.

That same mod got onto me and wanted to fine me for making a topic about sending cash.

Yeah, you should really do something about that, Chaos. It isn't right. Plagiarism is plagiarism. Sorry to hear about it. You're not too shabby. . .actually, you're great at it, as is Pimp Racer, compared to me, that is...

- Another reason I was replying is to "show off" my newest car. I built it from the ground up...with some help from the designs of other cars. It was hard to get the front end on the side view right, but it isn't too bad. Anyway, it's a Saleen S7. . . I think. . .:lol:

How's it look? It got a little distorted when I resized everything to get them to look the same height...but the general shape is what I'm really concerned about. I need some help with the shading, if anyone could do that.

I fixed some things on the car, like the wheels, and the door-jam was a bit off on the window, by about an inch! :lol: I think it looks a bit better now.
 
Hey, it's better than I can create from the ground up.

It may not be perfect, but by god, you can tell it its a S7. 👍
